2-year warranty and your statutory rights
Every product comes with a 2-year warranty, on top of your statutory rights, which it does not affect.

Your statutory rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not:
- within 30 days of delivery, you can reject the goods and get a full refund (the short-term right to reject);
- you can ask for a repair or a replacement, free of charge (including postage), within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you;
- if a repair or replacement is impossible or does not fix the problem, you can ask for a price reduction or exercise your final right to reject for a refund (a deduction for use may apply after the first six months);
- a fault that appears within six months of delivery is presumed to have been present on delivery, unless we prove otherwise;
- you can bring a claim up to six years after delivery in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and up to five years in Scotland.
Summary of your rights
Summary of your key statutory rights
The goods you buy must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality (Consumer Rights Act 2015, sections 9 to 11). During the expected life of your product, your statutory rights entitle you to the following:
- up to 30 days: if your goods are faulty, you can get an immediate refund (the short-term right to reject);
- up to six months: if your goods cannot be repaired or replaced, you are entitled to a full refund in most cases, and a fault that appears in this period is presumed to have been there on delivery unless we prove otherwise;
- up to six years (five years in Scotland): if your goods do not last a reasonable length of time, you may be entitled to some money back.
Repair or replacement must be carried out within a reasonable time, without significant inconvenience and at no cost to you, including postage. If it is impossible, or has not fixed the problem, you can ask for a price reduction or exercise your final right to reject the goods for a refund. After the first six months, a deduction for the use you have had may be made from that refund.
This is only a summary of your rights; it does not limit them. For more information, contact Citizens Advice (www.citizensadvice.org.uk).
If you live in France
If you live in France, you also keep the French legal guarantee of conformity (articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code). They are described in the French version of this page.
Our 2-year warranty on every product
Every product sold by Tech Market is covered by a 2-year warranty from delivery. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights: it does not replace or limit them.
During these two years, contact us directly and follow the steps below.
After-sales service: what to do
- Email us at contact@tech-market-boutique.com with your order number, the product concerned and a description of the problem, with photos or a short video if possible.
- We will first suggest a few simple checks (update, reset, test with other equipment) and then, if the fault is confirmed, explain how to return the product.
- Repairs or replacements under your statutory rights are free of charge for you, postage included.
Back up your data and remove your accounts, passwords and removable media before sending us a storage component or any device containing data: a repair or replacement may erase them.
To change your mind about a product that is not faulty, see our Returns and cancellation rights page instead. Full details are in our terms and conditions of sale.
