Returns and cancellation rights

You have 14 days from receiving your order to change your mind, without giving any reason, and returns are free.

Updated 8 November 2026

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. Returns are free: Tech Market pays the return postage.

  • The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or someone you have nominated (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods.
  • If your order contains several items delivered separately, the period ends 14 days after the day you receive the last item.

If you live in France, French law gives you the same 14-day right (article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code): see the French version of this page.

How to cancel

Before the cancellation period ends, tell us of your decision with the model form below or any other clear statement, quoting your order number:

You can cancel online: cancel my contract (a pre-filled email opens: add your name, your order number and the products concerned), or write to contact@tech-market-boutique.com. We will send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email without delay. For customers living in France, this is the online withdrawal function required by Directive (EU) 2023/2673.

Sending the goods back

  1. Once you have our acknowledgement, send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us you are cancelling, to: Jean Store Ltd, Flat 25 St. Matthew’s Court, 49 Capworth Street, London E10 5AP, United Kingdom.
  2. Returns are free: Tech Market pays the return postage. Please contact us before sending anything back (contact@tech-market-boutique.com) so that we can arrange the return at our expense.
  3. Pack the goods carefully, in their original packaging if possible, with their accessories, manuals and cables.
  4. Keep proof of postage and, if possible, the tracking number.

Free returns: you have no return postage to pay. You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning (as you could in a shop).

Refunds

We refund everything you have paid (delivery is always free, so no delivery charge was made) within 14 days of the day we receive the goods back or, if earlier, the day you give us proof that you have sent them back. If you cancel before the goods have been dispatched, we refund you within 14 days of being told of your decision.

We refund you using the same payment method you used for the order, unless you expressly agree otherwise, at no cost to you.

Orders opening soon: online payment is not open yet. No order can be placed yet, no payment is taken and no product is shipped. Payment will be by card, through a secure payment provider whose name and accepted cards will be shown here as soon as orders open.

Exceptions to the right to cancel

Under regulation 28 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel does not apply, in particular, to:

  • goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (for example a custom-built configuration, if such an offer is made);
  • sealed audio or video recordings and sealed computer software, if you unseal them after delivery;
  • sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, if you unseal them after delivery;
  • digital content not supplied on a physical medium, once its supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose your right to cancel.

Damaged or incomplete delivery

If the parcel is damaged, opened or incomplete, note precise details on the delivery slip in front of the courier (for example “box crushed, product not checked”), or refuse the parcel if it is obviously damaged, then let us know quickly at contact@tech-market-boutique.com with photos of the parcel and the product.

This does not reduce your rights against us: the goods remain at our risk until you take physical possession of them, and goods delivered damaged are covered by your statutory rights.

Cancellation is not the same as a fault

The right to cancel lets you change your mind about a product in good condition. If a product is faulty, see our Warranty page instead. Full details are in our terms and conditions of sale.
